Run by a very very desperate sociopath.  Please stay away from them.  Beware there are many many fake fronts for this so-called religion.

I have TONS AND TONS of links and knowledge to support this extreme statement.

I have been waiting for MONTHS to post this topic.

Mr. Miscarriage is going down, just like Gov. Christe.

But unlike Bridgegate, The Little Dwarf has killed, threatened, beaten, kidnapped, stolen from all if not most of his parishioners.  And it is NOT a goddman fuking religion.

There is NO REASON WHATSOEVER FOR THE TECH OF LRH A VERY NASTY MAN APPARENTLY TO HAVE ANY TYPE TAX FREE ANYTHING.

Possibly The LIttle Dwarf ruined $cientology or it was doomed from the outset.

I am able to empathize with all kinds of people associate with $cientology.

I was also in a cult.

A different one however.

Stay aware please or momma water will come after you big time.

I agree with you based on my more limited knowledge of Scientology, but I'm curious if there's a particular reason you're posting this now after months of waiting? Is there some new development with them?

Yes

Good point.

I am also EXTREMELY ALL CAPS ANGRY THAT THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNLISTED STATES OF AMURICA IN CAHOOTS WITH THE FBI HAVE DONE NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT THIS CULT.

People are dying; Every Single Day.  Someone just

Jumped off the roof of a Clearwater, Florida buildikng who was working for $cientology.  This was a young man from Russia.  Details are sketchy. This JUSt happened.  And there is TONS of Buckets of Blood Staining The Hands of THe LIttle Man That Wanted to Be King.

If you value your home and privacy and your money and your family and your friends,

never ever tell a $cientologist that you want to try out $cientology.

You will receive phone calls for the rest of your life.  Guaranteed.

How do you know if a person is a scientologist?  What kinds of things do they say?

lol

You will never ever meet anyone in scientology in real life unless you go to one of their storefronts or you are someone who already knows someone who is a member.

There are VERy VERy few remaining $cientologists in the WORLD.

The numbers have decreased at the EXACT SAME RATE THE LITTLE DWARF WHO SLAPPED started running the org. and kidnapped LRH. Imprisioned his family and started killing off the competition.

He is insane.

DAvid Miscavige Is the problem.

Don't worry. I will protect you.

just curious....if you feel comfortable....what town/state/country do you live in?

Water, while I am not a fan of superstition in any form (though Scientology, Christianity, meh) - are you okay?  You seem agitated.  Just wanted to check in.

This has nothing to do with superstition at all.

This is a cult.

A very very dangerous cult.

The reason I am agitated is because I waited SO long to make this topic.

Sorry if I scared you. :-}

(plus I have been up all night.)

One of the reasons, I swear, that i put off this topic, was because $cientology REALLY does come after you.  I am afraid they will try and figure out who I AM IRL.  And you do need to be afraid of them.

Water - though I am not disagreeing with you, and can see that you are genuinely very concerned about this, I admit I am also a bit worried about you. I agree that I have never heard anything good come out of Scientology. But you do seem quite agitated, and that's quite a large collection of links. Why were you up all night, if I may ask?

that's a lot of information you've collected

i haven't read any of it, but i totally take your word for it

cults are definitely ...exploitative

and i'm so sorry to hear you were in one

you mentioned fearing for your safety...?

are you safe now?

i hope so and i'm thinking of you and wishing you well and cheers for the information

i see people espouse the virtues of scientology elsewhere

and i know a couple of folks who'll be delighted to see the links i have to share with them

i'm going to send them this post because, like you, they are concerned with putting the information out there for others

best to you x

water- I hate this cult myself.

That being said, I am with the people expressing concern.

I just don't think this is how you usually SEEM. And that's very tentative because while this is a great place, it is still the internet.

Just, do you feel differently than usual? I don't want to upset you, I want to know if you're okay. That's it. Maybe we're mistaken, is all.

Scientology is shit though, you are very correct. It's a cult, 100%. I agree. It always baffled me, but I understand that just about anyone could be sucked into a cult. Which is scary.

Could not agree more. Nothing about the "Church" will end well for anyone involved. I cannot take ANY brainwashed celebrity involved in that mess seriously.

Keep fighting the good fight, water.

Totally and completely agree with your view on the cult.

Just joining in though with those who expressed concern.  Hope you're okay.  That list of links etc seems a bit excessive/obsessive... I say that with care, and mainly because you're reporting going through something stressful and not having slept for a long time.  Please look after yourself.

ok, I am now a little confused about all this concern.  I am doing very well. never better. hahah. no, really.

is it because I was so ADAMANT about $cientology?

That is probably because I spent a year waiting to post this topic.

It was just a few things seemed out of the ordinary.

And when someone says "never better" after having a really rough couple of days, I don't know. That doesn't help. Unless you really are being sarcastic (this needs its own font sometimes, hahaha) in that case, I don't know.

Were you finding all those sites in the last year? Man, that's a lot of research. I can't say I know nearly that much about ...fucking anything probably. But why wait a whole year? Was it digging up the research? I don't blame you for hating Scientology one bit. It's just awful. Those people are huge scam artists, from what I've read. It's really sad. I don't know why this is NOT nationally recognized as a cult. But then, I don't think I have the knowledge you do at all either. Think an episode of South Park and a few articles, hahaha. That's sad.

Anyway, sorry if the concern is bothering you. I know I get upset sometimes if it's "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!" left and right and nothing is.

In completely honesty, your several posts seem, to me from this great distance, to be more of a melt-down than either presenting information or venting.

However, I am usually wrong and certainly seem to be this time...but that does not stop me from being concerned when I re-read the posts.

For me, it's what Indigo said.  I get why people are paranoid about scientology, but you seemed paranoid/conspiracy theory-iest in a way that was...heated.  I don't know, just not what I expect from you.

water, I was worried because you said you were up all night and your tone in the posts seemed almost frantic.  If you are doing well, that's good and I'm glad to hear it, but I was a little concerned.

I absolutely agree that L. Ron Hubbard and his minions are a bunch of whack-nuts, but I agree with the others that your posts sounded just a teensy bit manic/frantic/crazed.  However, all's well that ends well.

I echo Melissa's question---why did you wait a year to post?  What has changed?

I waited because this is a dangerous cult and I did not want to put my anonymous name out there. Also because $cientology is all about trashing psychiatry I thought maybe there was no need to warn anyone on a mental health forum. However, Steven Mango, a young man in CA just made a documentary about his experience and I realized that there could very well be someone here that would get sucked in despite all the bad publicity over the years.

I will pocket my concern, bearing the right to still be concerned, and move away from any more posts in this topic.

Yet, my concern grows...

I appreciate your concern.

I am really unable to figure out why it is growing.

I do want to make sure that THIS TOPIC is about Scientology.

If you or anyone has a concern please PM me.

The topic seems, at least to me, to be more about YOUR reaction and response to Scientology than it is about the subject and verb of Scientology. Your response seems excessive and obsessive.

But, as I had recused myself, I return the invite and if you have questions let me know via messenger.

Well, I don't like Scientology, and I find their "technology" laughable. It turns me off if I find out that an actor (e.g. Cruise, Travolta) is a scientologist. I really cannot stomach any work of Tom Cruise because of his antics such as the couch jumping incident and his outspokenness against psychiatry. Odds are I wouldn't even be here without psychiatry. I still like some of Travolta's work, but I must say that his association with Scientology is troublesome to me.

However, I don't have any personal experience with Scientology and generally give my opinion only when asked.

If anyone finds themselves in need of it,i have resources on how to escape from cults. As well as from the related programming.

I was quite fascinated last year when Jenny Miscavige came out about about her experiences growing up being trained to take over the organisation and then about escaping from it. I can find you the link to her radio interview if you like.

Beyond that, I'm glad to learn that the or influence is waning. Cults are scary and evil, should not be classified as religions, should not get benefits and endorsements as a result, and should be declared illegal. But I will admit that my views are extreme and problematic as a result.

I feel for everyone who has been influenced by the proximity of one. It is little wonder to me that this would be cause for concern.

I think the concern for you, Water, is just in that you provided so many links previously about scientology, which seemed above and beyond.  However I think it could just be that you feel very strongly about the subject.

I completely agree with you guys, though, that scientology is a crazy religion.  It is essentially a work of science fiction that somehow became a religion.

I'll share some of my outside observations about $cientology.

They own many if not all the buildings in downtown Clearwater, FL. In that area you can tell who is a working $cientolgist because they usually all wear the same "uniform: - khaki pants, button down shirt, and the ladies usually have a scarf.

When I lived in the tampa bay area I went to a 4th of July festival in Clearwater. Among all the different booths, food, and drinks, was a scientology table. I was drunkedy drunk. I was also MI medicated. A kid much younger than me asked me if he could audit/meter me and I said sure. I answered all the questions - admitted I was drunk and on psychiatric meds. At the end of it he said "Yeah, you need $cientology, do you want to buy some books?" I said no and walked away.

When I moved back to CA this was the time that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were together and he had a special bus made for her so she could go to the Gold Base to learn about this crap. I did a whole bunch of research about the Gold Base and its pretty much a prison in the middle of the desert in CA.

I don't think anyone knows where Miscaviage's wife is really located or if she is alive, despite leah remini dropping out of the cult and calling the police.

Its all about money or work. And if you have to work your way through the system its not easy. Hard lard labor and they may not house you or give you any food. And you definitely don't get paid anything at all because you do it for love. You obviously did something wrong and now you have to pay them back.

That's pretty much all I know.

Thank you for sharing.  All very sad.  People join to grow and then they just get beat down for money to line Miscarriages pockets.

They did, I think, find Shelley.

scientology has eaten itself up and everyone in it.

good news is that corrupt LA sheriff in the pocket of miscarriage has resigned.
