delete
Hi I'm Tara, I'm here to talk with people who can relate and also to give people support. I had a very bad childhood and I'm still dealing with many issues that came from that. Right now I suffer from severe depression and anxiety. I'm actively seeking help, I see a therapist one a week and a Psychiatrist once a month. I'm on 150mg of Zoloft right now, which I started on it in Novemeber. My symptoms from my anixety and depression have been compulsive picking (fingers, feet, scalp), not getting out of bed (skipping class more than I go), selective eating disorder, compulsive thoughts, obsession, and being completely anti-social. I have never considered suicide (thankfully). However I attempted it 4 times when I was 10yrs old. Probably the biggest issues I'm facing right now is getting out of bed, picking, and obsessing over going back to bed. My eating disorder I've had since I was 6. A little about me...I used to be a professional horse trainer (got out of it last April), I have a dog named Hugo, and a Cat named Mae that live with me in an apartment. I have a passion for diesel engines and trucks. I hope to work for a diesel performance company one day. I am going to college for Marketing and currently work for a Ford dealership. I am an only child. My mother passed away from breast cancer in 2012. She was the reason for my bad childhood and I still deal with that every day. My father and I are very close even tho I live 4 hours away from him. Anyways, I look forward to talking/meeting all of you. Along with getting support and providing it. It's a great feeling to know that you're not alone.

olga
We've got lots of dog-lovers and horse people here, so I'm sure you'll fit in! I do ask all newcomers to read the rules, just so you understand how we operate. You can find the rules at the bottom of the page, on the right. Don't be afraid to ask questions----this is a friendly group. olga
