madmax15
I am going to try to meet people outside the mental health circle. Is there going to be that much difference? Is it a waste of time? Are those people without MI that much different?
WinterRosie
People are people. Some will care, some won't. Some will have empathy, and some won't. It's hard to make such a sweeping generalization. Some people you'll get along with, and some people you won't.

Guest
do you have a large circle of MI friends? Yeah, can't keep them. They get upset too easy and hold on to it and I find myself thinking twice before saying something. Which I find annoying. Mind you, I get upset easy too and hold on too stuff even from years ago. Whether or not it's a MI thing I am not sure since I haven't had any friends without MI since I was diagnosed.
