May Cause Dizziness

Recommended Posts

He's right on about the 50 million or less a year thing.  I just saw a show about antibiotics, and that drug companies have discontinued searching for new ones and even discontinued the production of current ones, because the sales have been STEADY.  People don't take them regularly, so they aren't making as much as much as they are off us, poor brainiacs.

Unfortunately for the world, we are all becoming immune to antibiotics and the bacteria are becoming supergerms, and soon we will all be happy with our Zoloft and horny with our Viagra and then die from a papercut that got infected.

Not that I'm about to give up my Zoloft.

Great article.  Thanks for the link.  Every time I go to my clinic I see the "beautiful" drug reps.  Well dressed, with model like looks.  I remember leaving the clinic a few weeks ago and seeing a drug rep get out of her BMW X5 SUV.  They often have an ecstatic look on their faces.

The other thing that is sickening at my clinic is a large plasma t.v. in the waiting area.  It plays a program called "Your Health" or something like that.  The show is basically a long string of commercials.  "Your Health" gives viewers up to date information on which drugs you should be asking your doctor about.  It's obvious that the drug companies pay the clinic to have the program running...

To know that the drug companies spend around 15,000 or more per doctor on advertising alone is so sickening.  I wonder if they are developing a drug for those who are made "sick" by watching drug commercials?
