Equivilency
Any one get fatigue really bad on Latuda? This side affect kind of creeped up on me. I will sleep through the whole day if I don't get a pot of coffee. I'm really sick of drinking coffee. My doc started me on Wellbutrin, but I don't think its strong enough to counter the fatigue... Anyone have any experience with this? How to combat debilitating fatigue?
AnnaBanana
I get tired a couple of hours after taking it, so I take it with dinner, but I have no lasting fatigue from it. Sorry you are experiencing this.
Wonderful.Cheese
It never made me tired. But seroquel doesn't even make me tired. So...take what I say with a grain of salt. I hope the Wellbutrin will help you.
mjs190
Latuda was pretty activating for me, so I took it in the AM. I should mention that I only took it for no longer than two weeks before giving up. I now take Seroquel XR, so I know all about fatigue. My strategy is combining it with a activating med (which you have done by adding Wellbutrin), and taking it early enough in the evening so I don't feel too sedated come morning. bipolarsara
I am just coming off latuda because of this. I saw my pdoc for an evening appt two hours after taking it and she actually sake me if I'd been DRINKING. The sedating effects got worse for me over time--it's hard to get up in the morning and if I didn't have to go to work I could easily go to bed at 9pm and sleep until 11 or 12. Anyhow, my doc is tapering me off the latuda and switching to abilify.
Equivilency
I'm going to ask my doc about switching too. I live in a sleepy nightmare. It got worse for me over time too, wasn't as sedating for first few months.
