shesellsseashells
I am having a problem with pupil dilation because of the Prozac I'm taking. I was hoping it would improve as time went on, but that does not seem to be the case. I started taking Adderall the other day and notice that my pupils are even more dilated. In your experience does this go away, or am I stuck with it? Does this happen with all stimulants? Thanks in advance.
shesellsseashells
Another question--this might not be the right place to post this but I don't want to clog up the forums with my Adderall questions. Can Adderall cause mania, or can it cause something like mania? I don't feel euphoric but I am talking a mile a minute and feeling scattered but focused at the same time. Is this just my body getting used to the med? Thanks again.
shesellsseashells
I should also mention that I went from 10 mg to 20 mg today but did not take it all at the same time. OK, that's enough now.
hisfilth
If you've never taken adderall you might at first feel quite talkative, focused and task oriented. Some people say it causes mild euphoria. When i started taking it, i felt that way for a while but the intensity wore off and it was easier to handle. However now i miss the intensity......its a confusing things. Never had my pupils dilate on adderall but i did have it happen BAD on vybrid .
shesellsseashells
Thanks for your feedback. The euphoria has calmed down a bit. I think I am unfortunately prone to dilation because a) I have light-colored eyes and b) they are dilated from the Prozac, anyway. I am going to not take the Adderall on days I have to drive at night until I see my pdoc.
shesellsseashells
Adderall makes me zippy for a week or so when starting or increasing. I guess my body gets used to it and then I don't notice it at all. Well, I take that back. I can't seem to stop messing with my hands. It's sort of like it's nervous energy. If I don't take Adderall the hand movements stop but then I don't get much done becase I can't focus. Does the dilation bother you? My eyes have always been prone to being dilated but I can't say that it makes any difference. The only trouble I've had is when I was in high school. My gym teacher would ask me every month or so if I was on drugs. I wasn't. Not any meds at all during that point in time. Hi sylvan, thanks for your feedback. The pupil dilation is bugging me because it's compounded with the dilation I'm experiencing with Prozac. I have a hard time seeing at night, especially to drive. This is a problem because I am a student who has classes at night, so there is no changing my schedule and getting around it. I am going to ask my pdoc next week to switch me to Wellbutrin. In the meantime, I won't take the Adderall on class days. Thanks again. I'm glad to know the zippiness is normal.
