Did you not see what I said about bandwidth and copyright issues?

People can post links to external sites that offer that information.

iceland, you seem to have a lot of suggestions for this site. How about taking a step back and learning about our community before making more suggestions? Otherwise your ideas start to sound like noise and/or spam.

How about posting an introductory thread and tell us about what brings you here.

I can imagine Woo putting on armour and running into battle!

Unfortunately the only battle song I know is Monty Python's "Brave Sir Robin" which isn't very inspiring. And doesn't remind me of Woo.

this is very wierd water, but i was looking at info regarding the Battle of New Orleans today

and even say this picture

odd, very odd

When I was very very young this must have been popular.

My girlfriend and I memorized the song and would sing it together with hand motions.

I never heard of "The Battle of New Orleans" until today. Thanks for the education. I must admit when I was in college I dropped out of my "War between the States" class because the professor enjoyed the bloody parts a little too much.

However - Who confessed to the accountant for shooting the alligator? Firearms and ammunition were not cheap.

*******

We do need a CB theme song. Maybe it should be Rod Stewart's "Have I told you lately that I love you?" That makes me very very happy. In an honest way. Not like REM's "Shiny Happy People." That song definitely has its place. But Rod's come's from the heart, KWIM?

peace out,

db

Hmm, what about Journey - Don't Stop Believing, or whoever that sings Total Eclipse of the Heart?

Classics. We could all scream "THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO, BUT TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART!"

Sorry, that song is amazing.

Bonnie Tyler, 1983.  OMG, now I not only have an earworm, I'm having flashbacks to pre-teen angst. As if I don't have enough 40-something angst to deal with.  <hits San over the head with a wet noodle>

Total Eclipse of the Heart is EPIC when done well at karoke.

I have to say that there is something more epic - you have never had the pleasure of witnessing my sister warbling The Rose at karaoke after a few drinks, with a crowd of fans waving cigarette lighters in front of her.  She also does a terrifying rendition of The Divinyls I Touch Myself.  You haven't lived til your big sister has embarrassed you like this.
