alwaysstruggling
Call me Leona. I'm 20 years old and have been struggling/living with mental illness for just over a decade. I have a long history of trauma, experiences, and treatment, so I won't bore you all with my story here. I just got out of a month in intensive outpatient treatment for my eating disorder. Before that was six weeks in general psych intensive outpatient after my first stay in a psych hospital (for suicidal ideation). I have a long list of official and possible diagnoses-- Major Depressive D/o, Mood D/o NOS, General and Social Anxiety D/os, Panic D/o, Obsessive Compulsive D/o, unspecified eating d/o, Borderline Personality D/o, and Depersonalisation D/o. I also have issues with substance abuse, specifically alcohol, cannabis, and pain killers. (114 days without a drink!) Now I'm trying to recover and live a good life. Working full time as a nanny, spending time with actual friends, and hopefully going back to school soon. Used to spend hours a day on forums, but dropped off that map a few years ago. Excited to spend some time around here, getting and giving support. Edited May 28, 2014 by alwaysstruggling
