Wooster
Anyone have one? I think this may solve my problem of not wanting to use shared laundry facilities any more (other peoples' scented detergents and fabric softener bug me), and possibly moving into a place that does not have washer/dryer hookups. Specifically, I'm looking at the Splendide washer/dryer combo. It's one unit that you can put on rollers. You can hook it up to the kitchen sink. It's manufactured by Husqvarna, known more commonly for their chainsaws, at least around where I live. Thoughts? Feedback? Have one you love or hate? I haven't had that particular make, but in college had one on rollers that you moved to the sink. I will warn you that several time my roommates and I did laundry without realizing the stopper was in or the sink was clogged, and we flooded our downstairs neighbors kitchen and our own silverware drawers. So be vigilant. I currently have a stackable combo, and the dryer is *so* underpowered that when it broke (and I was too dysfunctional to get it fixed) and started to use the laundromat I found I actually prefer just taking a bunch of wet laundry and drying it all at once. Because a single load could take like 2 hours in my unit. But it's fairly old, so that could definitely be a factor.
