Butterflykisses
When I was IP they checked my lithium level and it was 1.3. They didn't lower my dose or anything, but is this too high?
hagar
I think that's right on the high end of the so-called "therapeutic range," but someone correct me if I'm wrong. If they left you on it and it's working, they must not have been too worried. But you should ask your pdoc about it for sure, especially if they haven't checked it in a while. Are you having any adverse reactions or signs of toxicity?
CeremonyNewOrder
Your pdoc should be regularly checking your levels especially when you first start it.
Butterflykisses
I've been on lithium for awhile now like 4 years and this is the highest it's been and it was just checked 2 Saturday's ago when I was IP.
melissaw72
Are you drinking enough fluids? If you are dehydrated the level will be more than it really is.
