shesellsseashells
I accidentally deleted a video on my Android phone (HTC EVO 3D) that is important to me. I've pulled the card out. I've Googled to see what can be done, and there are a host of downloadable photo recovery programs available, but I don't know that any of them are safe. I called the Sprint store I go to for technical help but the technician is out until Friday and the guy I spoke with was clueless. Has anyone been able to resolve a similar situation? I'd love any advice you can give me. Thanks so much.
San
What operating system are you using? Nothing is really deleted until it's been formatted a few times. So it's probably not completely gone and can be recovered. I'm not sure which of these are the best, but coen113 gave me the list when I accidentally formatted my one drive about 10 times accidentally. Try a few out. They're safe. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filerecovery/tp/free-file-recovery-programs.htm It used to be MUCH easier to recover data. You had a floppy disk with "undelete" on it and went in, changed one letter, and the file was back.. we did that in college. Not anymore. *sigh*
San
I recommend the first one, Recuva. It's free and it is said to be as easy as deleting a file and works on all drives.
