KarateKid
Hey so I got switched to diazepam 5 mg twice a day from lorazepam 1 mg twice a day. My doc and the pharmacist told me that diazepam should stay in my system longer than lorazepam and I should feel diazepam's effect to help calm my aggressive states. I've been on lorazepam for almost 11 weeks now. What to expect? I'll be taking it when I get home. (Just left the pharmacy).
malachite
I went from 3 mg. a day of Klonopin to 2mg. three times a day of Valium. I've been on benzos a long time, and actually wish my dose was a bit higher. But I didn't have any issues switching. I was on Ativan before that. There's a possibility of feeling sleepy at first, just watch that and don't drive if you are, but that should go away if you do have an issues with that. Valium is longer-acting than other benzos. I hope it works well for you.

malachite
Okay. That sounds alright. That will probably go away once your body adjusts. Just don't do anything dangerous while loopy!
