How did you take care of yourself today?

I did not buy alcohol, even though there was no one stopping me.

 

I bought a couple of outfits that fit me, at the thrift store.

 

I ate a salad for lunch instead of cheese and bread.

I took my meds

 

I did deep breathing exercises

 

I ate to keep my blood sugar stable despite intense nausea from a migraine

Had a productive day. Went for walk, post office, dishes and went to Movie.

I am a real couch potato, so this is awesome.

Took my meds.

 

Slept as much as my body would let me when I was tired.

 

Ate when I was hungry and not "just because."

 

Answered the phone, to find pdoc was calling and checking on me to see how I was (I never usually answer the phone).

Told and convinced myself that it was ok that I wasn't able to get out of the apartment for a 2nd day.

 

Asked for help getting places, even though it didn't work out.

 

Took my meds and ate.

Resisted the very strong urge to order out/eat one of my "binge trigger foods"

 

Resisted the moderately strong use to use my drug of choice (sober 6 mos)

 

Went for 1.5 hour bike ride

My day is just starting but I woke up with a horrible cold. I skipped the gym (which is hard for me) because I know in the long run it makes me sicker to push on when I'm  already not well.

I plan to make a big saucepan of home made chicken noodle soup and rest as much as I can with kiddies around.

Yesterday I stayed busy so I wouldn't be insanely bored all day and out of my mind.

My sleeping is fairly regular again so, so far this morning I have:

 

Woken up at my normal time

 

Went to the gym

 

Currently having my coffee

 

And later this morning I will go to my last check in appointment with my clinician who is leaving the clinic this week

 

I'd say, so far, so good. Hopefully I will get some studying done after my check in.

I exercised today. I also spent the afternoon trying to relax and keep myself calm before final exams.

Made sure I got enough sleep the past few days so paranoia and worse hallucinations wouldn't settle in.

Took my Celexa (not time for the night-night medicine yet)

 

Went to my running class (yeah, I'm such a horrible runner I need to take a class :) )

 

Got a haircut

 

Shaved for the first time in a week
