Could you be more specific about "the shakes"? These could be TD or EPS (hopefully and most likely EPS). I experienced the same thing on Abilify, another AAP.

Usually benzodiazepines will help, like Klonopin, Lorazepam, etc.

It could be the lithium. Lithium is well known to cause a tremor. I had it when I was taking lithium. Sometimes a beta blocker helps. There are solutions so talk to your doctor.

Very unlikely to be TD.

I don't drink and still occasionally battle with very shaky hands.  For some reason it particularly hits me in the early evening.  I agree with jt that it could be lithium, is unlikely to be TD, and might be remedied with a beta blocker.  If it's affecting your functioning you really need to raise it with your doctor.

lithium also made me shake like crazy.  your doctor has options for you, as others have said.  one thing that was important for me to monitor was hydration when i was on lithium - even being slightly dehydrated meant i couldn't carry a cup of coffee without a lid.  drinking more water might help a little.

My hands shake some. I am not sure if it is meds or just me. Sometimes it is more noticeable than others and I will hold my hand to control the trembling. I am awful at Jenga.  I haven't looked into any options because it doesn't trouble me too much, but ask your pdoc.  There are things that can help.

It's most likely not TD. TD was quite uncommon even with the old typical AP's, after long term use and higher doses, some people would end up with it. Now we don't use as high as a dosage, and the new atypical AP's very rarely cause TD, even after long term use. EPS is a possibility, it can go away with a med change or an addition of a medication like cogentine, artane, or even benadryl.

However, you take lithium, and I had a tremor when I was on it. The first thing you want to do is get your lithium levels checked, because when I shook more, my lithium level was usually higher. When was the last time you had your levels checked? Do you remember what they were?

Lithium is notorious for causing tremors and some people take beta-blockers to stop them, or the meds for EPS I mentioned above. Talk to your doc for sure, and get regular lithium levels taken to make sure that they're in the therapeutic range.
