Savannah
My pdoc cut my prolixin in half last week. I did ok for the first week but now my paranoia is back. I am trying to talk myself out of it but I know it won't work. Not only am I paranoid but the walls have been breathing. I see the wall inhale and exhale. It sort of have a payers of a bath tissue. I don't want tolet my pdoc I have failed the test.

Savannah
Byte, he wants me off of prolixin for fear of TD. I have been on it this time for two years. It was only supposed to be for a month. Melissa , the test is trying to reduce the amount I use and still keep the paranoia under control. I didn't call my pdoc but I did increase back to the last dose and will tell him when I see him next month. At least the paranoia didn't get scary like usual. melissaw72
Just a thought ... if you increased the dose you might not have enough pills to get you through the month -- you'll run out (unless you have extras). But FWIW I would give him a call and let him know you needed to up the dose and why.
MiaB
I'm moving this to the antipsychotic board to increase the possibility of receiving more responses.
smac84
Hello. I am on 20 mg of prolixin (my pdoc just increased it for voices and paranoia). I hope that your body can adjust to the lower dose and you can remain stable. That might be all that needs to be done. When I came off of Topamax, I was severely depressed so my dr increased my other meds to compensate for the change.
