MaggieWPG
Hi, I am new here. My husband committed suicide on April 13 and I was diagnosed with PTSD and most recently Major Depression and anxiety. I am currently taking Brintellix 10 mg and Ativan 3 mg prn (2 mg at night). I am also currently in EMDR treatment which appears to be helping. Just joining to see what I can learn about other psychiatric drug and people who have similar issues to me. MaggieWPG
Thank you all, I really appreciate it. It's been a rough 5 months to say the least. I'm only 31, was with my 27 year old husband for 5 years, but only married for 8 months. He had secretly suffered in silence from mild bipolar disorder (in my opinion), which got worse when he was injured at work and became addicted to OxyContin. I unfortunately found him and have been really struggling with flashbacks, anxiety, depression, anger, confusion, frustration. You name the emotion, I think I experience a new one every few hours! It seems like the Brintellix is helping me to gain some clarity back in my everyday life and at work and also lifting a bit of the depression/anxiety. Again, thank you so much for your support.
