Even after the group I was having a lot of panic and anxiety. Why would this be so? I was anxious all group long and afterwards and before too. melissaw72 Posted September 25, 2014 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Was there something you wanted to talk about (maybe subconsciously) but didn't bring it up during the group? Sometimes when I have something on my mind and I want to bring it up, but can't get myself to do it, I'll get kind of panicky. I don't go to groups, but this sometimes happens when talking to people. Then I'm all stressed out an anxious because whatever it is that I wanted to say is still on my mind, and that will cause more anxiety. Sometimes when I want to bring up something to my boss, I get nervous before the meeting, during the meeting and after the meeting.
