Pele
I didn't ask the doctor why, but I am wondering why my depot injection is being reduced until it is taken away. I'll have almost no anti-psychotic medication if this happens. Is it possible that they might think I don't need it? One of the psychologists at the hospital said that they didn't identified any positive or negative symptoms on me. I don't want to ask directly the doctor why the removal and if they aren't making a mistake or something because I want the removal. What do you think? CeremonyNewOrder
You should ask your doctor. It is a completely legitimate question.
Pele
I just don't wan't to sound like, "Don't I need more medication?" (give more)
Chickenlips
Just be straight up and ask the question... it's your body and if medication is being changed/reduced then you have the right to ask why. As Ceremony said it is a legitimate question.... so they won't think it is weird or whatever...
melissaw72
I agree to ask about it. I would voice your concerns like you did here in this post (you're concerned about not being on an anti-psychotic). You have a right to know about your medications doses. Wonderful.Cheese
Yes i too really think this is a good question to ask your pdoc.
San
Ask your pdoc, for sure. "Why am I being taken off the depot injection?" "Would an antipsychotic be beneficial in my treatment?" Don't be nervous about asking about what's up with your treatment.
Pele
Just don't want to remind her to be put on another anti-psychotic.
melissaw72
Just don't want to remind her to be put on another anti-psychotic. I thought you were concerned because you were not on an anti-psychotic: I didn't ask the doctor why, but I am wondering why my depot injection is being reduced until it is taken away. I'll have almost no anti-psychotic medication if this happens.
