iaawal
I like Saphris.
Pamito
The one that works for you, kind of. I've tried most of them and some didn't work at all on me and some did work. Unfortunately each person responds to each medication differently.
evilnessness
I think seroquel is helping with my ocd. I don't really think other aaps have for me. I've usually required an antidepressant for anxiety and ocd.
Butterflykisses
Latuda has worked WONDERS on my ocd! I don't even think new pdoc thinks I have it anymore. I have learned a lot of coping skills and things that used to be obsessions and compulsions aren't anymore. I contribute it completely to the Latuda & coping skills. Cale
I like Geodon because it didn't give me weight gain.
Brenndo
See ^^^ above? Everyone has a different answer, everyone is different. You should see a benefit from most AAP's but I have heard that Seroquel works the best, clinically. However, that's not saying much. Most of them help to some extent. Wonderful.Cheese
Intrusive, there is no one "best" aap. You will have to try and discuss which one is the best option for you with your pdoc. Good luck.

mjs190
As far as research on the matter goes, Abilify, Risperdal, and Seroquel have all been implicated in helping treatment-resistant OCD. Topamax has also proven to address the compulsive portion of the disorder, but did not show any efficacy for the obsessive/intrusive portion.
