nhlosthighway
I've been on Valium 4mg 2 times a day for over 1 year. Usually when I wake up until the time I take my 1st dose I am so nauseous and sweaty. I live in an extremely cold year round environment and find myself standing outside in shorts and t-shirt to cool down even through it's 10 degrees and 3 feet of snow. About a few minutes after I take my Valium I seem to feel better with no sweats or upset stomach. Anyone else have this problem?
crtclms
It sounds like you aren't getting 24 hour coverage. I'm not a doctor, that is just what it seems like to me. You definitely need to bring this up with your pdoc. You shouldn't have to wake up every day going through withdrawal. Having said that, valium has a really long half-life. That doesn't mean it works the entire time, more a measure of what your blood level is approximately. You might want to ask what your pdoc thinks would happen if you split your dosages, and took the same overall amount, but divided into more doses throughout the day to try to even out your blood level.
