Just wondering if any tips for adding gabapentin to remeron....

On 15 mg of remeron right now for a couple days....

Figure to get it in the system before adding something else....

Hopefully more awake during the day before i add anything....

But just wondering if i should have gabapentin with food or just take it with the remeron at night or something....

I know everyone is different but figured to see if anyone else had to do this and see if they found a goos way to do it.....

I took Gabapentin AM/PM, and also PRN. I never was told to eat or not eat.

I've never used Remeron, but I hear it's pretty sedating. Did your pdoc prescribe you both meds? Because if so, s/he probably meant you to start both, not one at a time.

I am supposed to take remeron and see how it is and get into the system and then try the gabapentin.

Remeron is making me a zombie though so not sure how long i will try it and just try the gabapentin and see how that is.

Problems are anxiety, nerve pains and appetite mostly.....some sleep issues.....

Right now just dealing with my general doc and seeing if i can make something work and going from there.

My cardiologist recently committed suicide from anxiety and depression so if he couldn't get the right help, well theres not much hope for me to. So am looking into herbs and such......

All the doctors here are burnt out....

So yeah i just figured to see if anyone wasmon the same combo and what they found worked to take the two meds together.

Definitely frustrating that the remeron makes me such a zombie and hasn't helped my appetite yet either.....waiting for that......

Anyway now babbling......
