Just thought I'd start this thread for those of us who find it helpful to report in about other self care activities like exercise.

This morning, I did a 50 minute guided meditation on "metta" (lovingkindness).

Wow, 50 minutes today?  Super impressed with you.

I haven't done my 20 for the day yet, but I swear I will in the next hour :D

I *may* have fallen back asleep a bit... it was when I woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep. Guided meditations are a LOT easier... especially when I'm still laying in bed and have just woken up.

I did, though, do a full 20 silent sitting at lunch today. :)

I read a tarot triad for me (and did a reading for someone else). Does that count?

20 minute guided meditation about motivation

20 minute guided meditation about anxiety relief

I really like it when people ask me to meditate with them at my work. :)

I also taught a 5 year old and his Nanna how to do Pebble Meditation tonight.

Hoping to hit up the 10 minute headspace tonight, too  Check. Yay me.

I sat in one place, turned on my meditation tape, and probably dissociated for 20 minutes.  But I tried.

It still counts, tryp. You made the effort to meditate and whatever your wild mind did is what it did. And it's ok. That's why it's called "practicing".

20 minutes today - and my 200th session in total!  2 month run streak and counting.

That's a lot of 2s.

This morning, I did a 50 minute guided meditation on "metta" (lovingkindness).

If you will indulge my curiosity for a moment, in what language is lovingkindness rendered as "metta?" I'm Jewish-I know it as "chesed."

I believe its Sanskrit. Might also be Pali.

I'll check when I am not on my phone.

I did an hour guided meditation this afternoon.

Am starting a silent sitting meditation on the ferry. Should be about 20 Minutes.

Eta... by the time I stopped farting around here it was 11 minutes.

It's Pali. The Sanskrit word is maitri.

I intended to do a 40 minute silent sit with 8 minute intervals. However, the meditation timer only works when my screensaver is NOT on, so I ended up doing a 50 minute sit.

20 minute guided meditation compassionate body scan...

I like this one, and would like it better if the waves were a little less loud. What I like about it is that she says it's ok if you don't feel relaxed or compassionate because we are just practicing.

tried again today. i ended up falling asleep during my second 20 minute guided meditation attempt - which is good because i needed sleep but bad in terms of making the most of my meditation attempt.
