BorderlineWintergirl
So I don't have a sleep disorder, but I was wondering if this sounds like something I should talk to my doc about... For the past couple nights, I been sleeping but without actually feeling like I'm sleeping... I think. It's really weird because I feel like I'm awake but time goes by fast like I'm asleep. So literally all night I feel like I'm sleeping but I'm awake. I don't know what's going on and it's making my head all foggy during the day. Do you think there's anything a doc can do? melissaw72
This happens to me sometimes and I figure it is that I am in a light sleep but don't realize it until I actually get up. I think back to what my mind was thinking about the whole time, and usually can never remember what I was thinking about ... which makes me think it is a light sleep. But it can't hurt to bring it up with your DR. I hope you get some answers soon!
Mozartsghost
I don't think it hurts to talk to your doctor about this. Especially if this is a new symptom you are experiencing. I am an insomniac so I never thought to bring it up to my doctor. Recently, after being diagnosed with dissociative disorder I told him about my insomnia. Turns out, it is because I am dissociating at those times. I felt a lot better about things when hearing that this is part of my recovery and my therapy. I hope you can get some answers and feel better about all of this!
Fluffypinkbunny
I have this all the time. I did it the night I went for a sleep study. I was upset thinking they wouldn't have any good data, to work with. Come to find out I was sleeping after all.
