jt07
I am looking for a good mood tracker app for Android. I don't want to use any online trackers and would like to keep it local in my tablet. I've tried the T2 mood tracker, but it is far more involved than what I'm looking for. Too many decisions to make in T2 about how I'm feeling. I have a hard enough time expressing exactly how I feel. It's an excellent mood tracker but not for me. I'd like a simple mood tracker which I could make entries in several times a day. Any ideas? Thanks. Geek
I use iMoodJournal on my iPhone. A quick google search shows me it's available on android too. It's rate 1-10 and you can make notes or tags. Mine asks me 3 times a day. I'm pretty sure you can change that. It will compile charts for you to print if you want (makes my geek brain happy). It doesn't connect to the internet. I've used it even when I don't have data or wifi.

saveyoursanity
I like Moodlytics. (android) Quite honestly it's the best app I've found for mood tracking, even if I've gotten out of the habit of using it. It even does some analysis for you, can export to PDF (and I think comma delineated txt)... Edited April 18, 2015 by saveyoursanity

jt07
I tried out Moodlytics and it's nice, but I decided to go with T2 Mood Tracker. T2 Mood Tracker is actually quite good once I found out how to edit the mood categories to make it more relevant to me. Why I chose T2 over Moodlytics is because you can have only one mood at a time with Moodlytics, but to really capture my emotional state, I need several. However, I pared down the categories to just 5 out of the tremendous number it came with. Edited April 27, 2015 by jt07
SchizoHH
Thanks to this post I downloaded the iMoodjournal. I didn't even know these existed. Will start tracking today. Thanks!
Gearhead
I like Optimism, for what it's worth. It's got a lot of categories (I also need more than one emotion at a time), a good section for note-taking, and you can download it to your computer so it isn't out there in the world. The only app I can find on Google Play called Optimism is in Spanish. Can you give me a link to it on the Play store?

jt07
Thanks, Gear. Looks like it is only available for IOS/Mac/Windows. I don't see it for Android.
