Hello!

I'm a 22 year old girl and live in Austria. I've been diagnosed with BPD, depression, compulsive disorder and anxiety disorder, but I strongly suspect that I got the wrong diagnosis.

I am afraid to be a psychopath. I know that I am and feel different than most of the rest of the world since I'm a child. As I read about anti-social/psychopath personality disorder - I don't even know why I did it -, I got alarmed because many symptoms describe me perfectly. I will talk with the neurologist tomorrow about this topic and I hope he can help me.

I am looking forward to get to know you all and to try to help you :)

Lots of love,

~ Dolly

Hello and welcome.

I have worried for years that I am a psychopath, and when I was an inpatient 2 years ago I finally brought this up. They said that the fact that you are concerned about this, means that you are not. A psychopath would not care or worry about it, like you are. When they told me that, it helped.

I still find it hard to shake off that feeling deep inside, but it does help to think it out logically in this way.

I hope your doctor can help you out even more.

And sorry for the late reply :/

Hester, thank you so much for your help! It really helped me a lot. My doctor said the same thing. I'm so glad I'm not a psychopath. I'm so so so so sooo glad.

Hope you guys are alright.
