Velvet Elvis
I had to repartition all my drives with GPT partition tables. MBR has been just fine for nearly everyone for decades but now you've got to come and fuck it all up.Don't even get me started on UEFI. WinterRosie
Why keep what works when you can fuck it up!?
jt07
Since I use Linux all the time and only very occasionally use Windows, I see no reason to upgrade. It can be nothing but headaches since Windows is not friendly to other operating systems.
Velvet Elvis
USB3 never worked right under Win7, and I have several drives that support it. I'm hoping 10 fixes the issue.
Nystagmus
I never needed more than 4 partitions, so I stick with MBR. GPT and UEFI seem to complex to me in some ways. I run Linux and I don't even use GRUB, but instead use GRUB4DOS from within PuppyLinux. It works just as well and I can more easily customize the bootup menu. Dzo
This is why I am getting a Mac....That way I can't deal with peasant problems.
Velvet Elvis
I got it all working and at this point really like Win10. I rarely boot into my Linux partition and mostly just use a Debian VM for admin stuff. My Linux partition is also currently running a flavor of Ubuntu though, and I always end up hating Ubuntu.
