how soon do side effects occur with wellbutrinsr100mg

How soon do side effects occur? I am taking a new drug which I am a little nervous about gaining weight on I don't need to gain anymore weight so I am hoping weight loss is a side effect and not weight gain.I am on day two of taking wellbutrinsr100mg along with abilify5 and Lexapro10mg at night. My Dr.said I should experience side effects if any in the beginning of taking a new drug.Just wondering If I should already be having side effects or is it too soon to know if I will or not?

The worst side effects always occur in the beginning of treatment for any med until your body gets used to it. It generally takes longer for the positive effects to be felt.

^ What jt07 said. I've been on 200mg's of Wellbutrin SR for about 2 months, and I've had no side effects good or bad. I don't really feel much different than when I wasn't on it. My dose probably needs to be adjusted.

I would give the med at least 6-8 weeks to see how it is affecting you.  I've gotten side effects from meds later on in taking the med, meaning I didn't always have them in the beginning when first starting the med.

I will give it at least 4 weeks and see how I react I may not even have any side effects so far I haven't just more energy which I like having. But I shall see after 6 to 8 weeks and then post an update on how its working for me.
