enduranceessential
I think I'm starting to have a stronger positive effect! Is it possible at this dosage (two days) to still have s.e. like bad headaches and anxiety? Thanks for your opinions...
jt07
Yes, you can still have a headache at that dosage. For me, the headaches really only started at doses about 100 mg. However, the headaches do go away with time.
Gearhead
In my experience, you can get headaches again temporarily any time you titrate.
enduranceessential
Thanks. I figure it's just the "work crews" in my brain. Hopefully the anxiety will subside with some more time.
jt07
The "lamotrigine headache" is pretty famous, but once you are at your target dose for a while both the headach and anxiety will go away. Give it a couple of weeks. I found that Tylenol worked best for me to treat the headache.
enduranceessential
Thanks...I hope this is my target dose. It is where my pdoc wanted me to stop to then assess things on 9/18.
enduranceessential
Is the headache a "good sign", to your knowledge? (He asked hopefully...)
jt07
I would like to say yes, but alas, I think the lamotrigine headache is just a headache. You can get a headache from Tegretol too. It doesn't really mean anything.
