I'm looking for something to replace the fetzima b/c of the sever constipation and hair loss. My meds seem to be working ok right now. I'm stuck do I just deal with the side effects or look for something else) So I've been researching other meds. Viibryd seemed to be the best one. Does anyone have any female sexual side effects with viibryd? Has anyone been on both fetzima and viibryd preferred one over the other? Show viibryd works for u. Ur side effects? I just need some info on the viibryd. Really experiences not what those websites say. I'm also gaining weight off the seroquel. I'm already very big b/c of past trial and error with meds. I can't afford to gain anymore weight. I gain 15lbs in the past 3 months I don't eat during the day just at night after I take the seroquel. It makes me so hungry. And I can't sleep when I'm hungry. It is nice to get feedback on meds and how they have effected others but in the end Pdoc is in charge. Everyone reacts very differently to meds. (usual disclaimer) My signature is below with my med history and DX.Viibryd was a horrid nightmare for me, sent me into a horrid mixed state, Fetzima was the same if not worse. I had no sexual side effects with Viibryd. Fetzima didn't kill my sex drive but killed my ability to orgasm. Can you say frustrating ugh. I tend to lose weight from most of my psych meds. I dont think my experience is very helpful, but it illustrates how different we all react to meds. Weird huh?Two meds have helped with the depression that comes with my version of BP: Lamictal and Wellbutrin. I did not get depression relief until I hit 300MG on both meds. I still cycle however so my cocktail is not done yet. If your meds are working well right now IMO dont fix whats not broken. A working cocktail can be sooooooo very hard to find. I was on Viibyrd for only about 20days. the DRASTIC down hill spiral I had was very upsetting. 1week3days after switching back to my old med and im feeling much better.I gained 5lbs in those 20days. My hair started falling out at an incredible rate. I went from meh, to obsessive, intrusive thoughts, crying, wanting to spend the entire day in bed. not wanting to talk to anyone.. it was horrid for me. I was in the bathroom at least 3x a day. on bad days it was close to 10x including waking at night..My only pro on Viibryd was it didnt effect what little sex drive I had or cause any other issues in that area.
