Kona
I have a reminder on my phone which I mostly ignore. When I do remember, I think, I should take them but put it off and forget about it more.i don't know why I have an aversion to taking them. I really don't...does anyone have anything that works to take meds regularly? At this point I'm not sure how much is left in my system :/ I don't know why I keep forgetting and then will fully ignoring.

Fluffypinkbunny
Different colored pill boxes. One for morning and one at night. I keep them on my nightstand and take them first thing, when I get up and go to bed.
lifequake
A pill box helps keep the meds organized and easily accessible. A daily routine or setting an alarm can be helpful, too.Honestly, though, I take meds because I want to feel and function better. Skipping them is simply not an option.I wonder if you could identify what is getting in the way taking them? Do you dislike swallowing them? Do you think they aren't helpful? Does it feel like too much effort to get up and take them? Just food for thought.
Rabbit37
Do you take meds more than once a day? I always had trouble with morning meds, but I found putting the bottle on* the coffee pot helped (somewhat). It also depends on if you have a regular routine. At night, I have a very strict routine of putting the dogs out, in that time I take my meds with plenty of water, brush my teeth, etc, then let the dogs in and go to bed. I have a pretty strict bedtime (10pm), which is actually a riot since I barely sleep, but I like the routine. As life quake said too, I want to feel better, therefore I am more motivated. melissaw72
Pill boxes. One for AM, One for PM (AM is a different color than PM). Also, I know for myself , and as life quake said, if I miss certain meds I feel it, and don't like how it feels. Also I do not ever want to go psychotic again. I don't want to hear constant hallucinations, do things I totally regret, and embarrass myself as I did most of them ... so I make sure to take meds. Southern Discomfort
I just use an app on my phone, most of the time I don't need it, I'm pretty good at remembering. It's only one med in the morning I can have problems with, an alpha-blocker, because it needs to be taken after the first meal of the day and distractions usually follow, but I've set a hard time during the morning that I need to take it by that time, it usually works.
