I have been taking 200mg of lamictal for about a wk 6wks in all working up to there and 20mg of latuda. I'm having anxiety and wired feeling alot. I was thinking it was the lamictal and now I'm wondering if it's latuda. My doc did said he didn't want to increase while my anxiety was bad cause it could increase it. Anyone else felt this it or had a not so good experience?

It could be both. The Lamictal titration can be rocky and is known to increase anxiety levels, although now that you're at a therapeutic level that shouldn't be an issue.

Latuda is known to be activating in terms of anxiety and agitation. It wasn't effective for anxiety when I took it, and it gave me akathisia. AAPs that are good for depression and anxiety include Risperdal, Seroquel, and lastly Zyprexa (although that's bringing out the big guns).

I've also had akathisia and that's how I feel - anxious and wired. I took a tiny dose of abilify for a week and had that feeling for the entire week and when I started the saphris it also happened but eventually evened out after some time and it was no longer an issue.

Also side note. Lamictal titration does mess with your moods. I've started it 3 separate times in the last couple years and every single time the titration messes with me.

This is off the fda medication guide common side effect is restlessness and feeling like you need to move around (akathisia).
