The Right Honourable Jimmy
My house-mate does aripritazole right? She has Histrionic Personality Disorder from what she told me and it kinda helps her so she doesn't call ambulances and call the police every minute and saying she wants to kill herself when she has told me and other people she trusts that she does it for attention. jt07
For most people, Abilify takes a few days to a few weeks to work. It's not the best choice for a PRN.
mjs190
As jt said, Abilify has a long half-life and takes quite a bit of time to reach steady levels in the body, so it's use PRN is probably not as effective as other meds like Risperdal, Seroquel, or Zyprexa.
