WhoMe?
I finally found that Cymbalta 120 mg works for my depression. (Also on Abilify 20 mg for depression & OCD; Adderall XR 30 mg for ADHD; Lamictal 400 mg for depression; hydrochlorothiozide 12.5 mg for hypertension.) This is a great development, but the sexual side effects are awful. I cannot orgasm--at all. Anyone try Wellbutrin for sexual SEs? Did it work? CeremonyNewOrder
You could also ask for a Viagra like drug

For this particular side effect, I have found Remeron to be useful.
WhoMe?
To update, my pdoc didn't seem as bothered by this SE as me, asking if I could wait it out for 6 months. When I told him no, he agreed to Wellbutrin. It's helping a little.
jt07
Good luck with the Wellbutrin. They say it helps with this, but it never really helped me. However, Remeron did as I mentioned above.
notfred
There are a few options that I know of depending on the side effect (SE). Sexual SE's seem to come in two flavors, 1) unable to get/maintain erection or 2) no problems with erections but unable to orgasm. Viagra is for problems in getting erections and there are several similar meds available. Usually you start with Viagra and then try the other drugs if it fails. Wellbutrin seems to work for both SE's and can be effective in restoring interest in sex. You would need to take it every day. If that does not work the first generation antihistamine cyproheptadine has a number of effects including anti-serotonin properties. Presumably sexual SE's in men operate through serotonin pathways so that is a likely target. Cyproheptadine can be effective with both of the common sexual SE's. It is taken an hour before activity. Being a first generation antihistamine means it is an old antihistamine and sedating for some. I did not find it unduly sedating but I am on a lot of antihistamines as it is. I found it effective for both SE's, but like Viagra the dosing is inconvenient.
