That's the last time I call a national hotline

... I knew there was a reason I stuck to therapist hotlines.  Some bitch just tried to compare treatment resistant MDD to choosing to live with racial inequality.  As in... it's a choice you make and can stand up and stop if you have the will to do so.

I wish I were joking.

After thinking about it for a min, I called back and asked if my Google number registered & was linked to the call.

It is

I left a msg for the supervisor asking for a review.

That kinda shit could easily lead to the caller going through with a suicide attempt.

No.

That totally sucks ... I am glad you left a message for the supervisor.  That jerk shouldn't be on a hot-line ... any hot-line.

Are those calls recorded?  Asking so the supervisor can listen to the call you made just in case s/he doesn't believe you?  NOT saying you aren't believable, just sometimes they might make something look not as bad as you say (kind of like sticking up for one of their own) ... which I hate.

What is a "google number?"  Is it something you register for?

I'm pretty certain they're recorded.  Otherwise, there'd be no reason to keep a number in their system after a call.  A google number is "google voice"... it used to be combined with their inbox chat where you could make all in-country (and even some out of country calls) for free.  You just needed a mic.

Now it's separate from that under your deep advanced settings.  It's a part of Hangouts now too.  I think it's easiest to get to by logging into your google account and then searching for "google voice settings".  They let you pick a number from anywhere in the country.. and now with the hangouts phone app - you can do internet calling with it.  Even on tablets.
