original guy
I've been on a benzo as part of my cocktail for a long time, and I've noticed quite a difference between some generic manufacturers. I was recently switched to oxazepam and the pharmacy carries Sandoz and Actavis. Does anyone have an opinion on the quality of these 2 companies when it comes to benzos or oxazepam in particular? I've noticed in the past the one company that I feel doesn't hardly work at all is Mylan.
San
Most of my meds are one generic or another, it changes randomly, have never noticed a difference. I take APO-clonazepam, have been on Sandoz, as well as Mylan, noticed no difference.
march
I'm sorry if this is not helpful, but Greenstone (at least for alprazolam) is closest to the name brand version, as the company is owned by the same that makes Xanax non-generic. I always did very well with Greenstone, but Sandoz didn't seem as effective to me. From everything I've read Mylan sucks.
crtclms
A lot of people don't respond to one or other of the generics, and do respond well to one particular generic. Some members have figured out what works best, and then asked their pharmacy to get that particular generic. I don't know if every pharmacy will do that, but maybe it is worth a try.
