troop111
Hi Everyone, I know that when titrating up on Lamictal, one has to be very careful regarding rashes and other erratic skin behavior, watching in particular for Steven Johnson Syndrome. I had no problems when I went up on the Lamictal, but now I'm decreasing it and have been developing rashes and all these other skin conditions, like folliculitis, that I didn't have before. The skin conditions started to flare up right around when I started making cuts to the Lamictal, although I may be wrong on that. But the timing is about right. Any thoughts or insight into this? Thanks troop
Gearhead
Lamictal can mess with your skin at any point when you're taking it. You should let your doctor know, but spare yourself the freaking out. Less than 1% of people who take Lamictal ever get SJS.
