Alien Navel Cord
Anyone have any tips besides going for a walk or drinking coffee that will take you out of the sleepy 'dumbs' when you take klonopin? I need it for anxiety, but it makes me way too chilled to the point I want to sleep, and when spending quality time with my gal I don't want to bed too early. I would like them if they'd take away the anxiety but also not make me feel sleepy. Just relaxed is fine by me.
MiaB
I wonder if it's a dose issue - maybe you are taking more than you need to? I've not found that clonazepam specifically makes me dopey, and I take it twice a day, including during the week when I am working fulltime. melissaw72
I agree with MiaB ... was wondering if you are on a higher dose than you might need. At first I found klonopin making me tired, but that wore off for me, and I do not have the sleepy feeling anymore.
jt07
I think the others have nailed it. Klonopin shouldn't make you overly tired at the proper dose. If you are finding yourself getting tired or sleepy, I would suggest talking to your pdoc about lowering the dose somewhat.
CrazyRedhead
Good advice from everyone....Maybe you don't need as much as you're taking... I also would suggest bringing this up with your p-doc. My klonopin dose doesn't sedate me, I take 2mg daily. Alien Navel Cord
Yeah, perhaps... she has me on 2mg twice daily. Maybe I only need 2 or 3 mg. I'll ask! Thanks
