reco49
I was prescribed seroquel 25 - 100mgs nightly strictly to aid in sleep. My Dx is depression/anxiety with 2 recent hospitalizations for this. My biggest question is, is the seroquel at this dose doing anything other than acting as a sleep aid or is it possibly affection my condition positively. I dont know? Iam also on Effexor/Wellbutrin. I have recently stopped taking it for 3 nights as an experiment, with grave sleep deprevation the result. I wonder if I should ask Pdoc for just a sleep aid or stay with the Seroquel. Any suggestions for a good sleep med that will not leave me drowsy the next day.
Batou
Don't stop the Seroquel without talking to your pdoc first! Stopping any medication without tappering down is not a good idea. The Seroquel may be helping you or it may not be but stopping it cold at any dose will effect you. I just had to stop Seroquel cold, under pdoc's orders, and it was not fun.
