I have an odd question

I had to take motrin at a High dose for a week. I started having nightmares anxiety and insomnia. I told my doctor and they don't care. I take klonopin daily

I saw that klonopin and motrin are metabolized by the same cytochrome. Am I correct? Would this lower one?

I don't know about drug metabolism, however, if you look at the Drugs.com site, it does mention many side effects of Ibuprofen (Motrin) & that it can cause nervousness (common), depression & sleeplessness (rare): https://www.drugs.com/sfx/ibuprofen-side-effects.html

I also came across an article that talks about how many painkillers/NSAIDs can reduce the effectiveness of SSRI's: http://healthland.time.com/2011/04/25/how-advil-thwarts-the-effects-of-prozac/

This research discusses only Serotonin-drugs, I have not read that this interaction occurs with Klonopin or other benzos, but maybe that is a possibility?

Does this help?

(it compares ibuprofen, but that is pretty much the same thing as Motrin).

There were no interactions found in our database between clonazepam and Ibuprofen PMR

One is a generic (ibuprofen) one and the Motrin is a brand name.
