melissaw72
Hi, welcome to CB! I second the lamictal. *I think you will get more answers from the "mood stabilizers" forum ... maybe a mod can move this to that forum?
FrozenMama
Thank you for your responses. I will speak to my doc about Lamictal. I wasn't aware there was mood stabilizing forum - if someone can move this, that would be great!
aura
There are a few anti-epileptic medications used for bipolar, including lamictal, trileptal, and depakote. I've had crappy luck with them, but it seems like a lot of people here like them.
AnalogKid
Have you tried the extended release tablets instead of the immediate release pink capsules? They are supposed to reduce side effects, especially the gastrointestinal ones.
melissaw72
@FrozenMama Here is the mood-stabilizing forum, in case the mods don't see your most recent post: http://www.crazyboards.org/forums/index.php?/forum/10-anticonvulsants-mood-stabilizers-bodies-a-twitchin-moods-a-switchin/
MiaB
I'll lock this thread, since you've started up another one on the anticonvulsant board. Mia (moderator) Edited February 3, 2017 by MiaB
