Lins88
When i was experiencing psychosis i was repeating "war is coming" over and over again. I was yelling it to anyone I came in contact with. This was in june 2016. I'm not big on celebrities, theyre just humans like us, but i noticed a few weeks back Misha Barton had a break screaming "war is coming". They later tried to say she was slipped ghb. I personally don't believe that. Also during june some model in nyc had a break saying something similiar about ww3. My question is have you had any experiences when you were psychotic thinking the world is ending or that war is coming? What was it like specifically? Why do so many different people from different backgrounds experience war/ end of world delusions/hallucinations? It just seems like too much of a coincidence to me. Cale
at one point I thought there was a nuclear holocaust that already happened. me and everyone I came in contact with were in Purgatory.
JustGotOut
Yeah when I was psychotic 2 years ago I thought we were going through world war 3 and i had power to stop nukes from exploding with my mind. Its a powerful feeling for sure. I haven't really heard of this being common in psychosis but it seems like it is from this thread.
Gearhead
I think it's such a common delusion because psychosis feels so enormous that the only good metaphor we have for it is war.
