PBF
I've seen many posts of people having major insomnia problems. Been there, it sucks hardcore. You have tried many sleeping pills and it never really works? You want to sleep? Ask your doc about Nozinan. This old antipsychotic is the shit if you have radical, treatment resistant, persistent insomnia. Serious. Its also used in hospitals to augment opiate treatment and to manage pain. Inexpensive, the stuff is potent and very, very sedating even at low doses. So if you can't sleep, try 10-25 miligrams of Nozinan. You'll sleep. Maybe even a bit too much.... Cheers, PBF
AirMarshall
Thanks PBF, good to see you again. I dont' recall anyone mentioning Nozinan before. I'll get some a Drug Info link up for it shortly. A.M.

revlow
Hi, I was curious about Nozinan (Methotrimeprazine). Unfortunately, from what I've been able to find, it doesn't appear to be available in the U.S. Where are you, PBF? I've been able to find info about it in Canada and the U.K. Here's what I was able to find at the U.S. National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health, website: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginf...pdi/202457.html. As you can see, they list it in the Phenothiazines category, and they show it as being available in Canada. Here's another link: http://www.healthyplace.com/medications/me...rimeprazine.asp. It's also available in an IM form, called Levoprome IM.

revlow
It's a crapshoot, isn't it? Sometimes we're ahead in the med department, sometimes we're behind. Frankly, I think we in the States more often are behind, but I'm sure there's a good argument the other way 'round. Thanks for letting me know. revlow
