Loon-A-TiK
Since my boyfriend told me I look more alive, like "myself" and less drugged without Paxil, I was wondering if I should think of ditching the Lamictal too. This will be the topic of my next Pdoc appointment. Any opinions? I am BP1 w/psychotic symptoms and PTSD.
revlow
Let me get this straight...you're BPI, and you're thinking of dumping the one MS you're on? (At least from what I can tell by your signature) Listen, I think it's great you're feeling so much better without the Paxil! One step at a time, though. Generally speaking, slow steps, too. Yes, talk with your pdoc about this. I suspect he'll say something similar.
LikeMinded
Loon-A-TiK: In the words of an infamous mistranslated Korean instruction booklet: NOT TO DUMP THE LAMICTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless you want to sub it with some Depakote or Depakene. Otherwise is to risk much non-hilarity.
synthetic
Since my boyfriend told me I look more alive, like "myself" and less drugged without Paxil, I was wondering if I should think of ditching the Lamictal too. This will be the topic of my next Pdoc appointment. Any opinions? I am BP1 w/psychotic symptoms and PTSD. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would agree that dumping the Lamictal without first adding another MS would probably be a bad idea. I am actually wanting to go the opposite way, adding an AP to my Lamictal. For me, Lamictal has helped a lot with depression, but now I have been having more problems with mania which may be exacerbated by the AD effect of Lamictal. I may also look at another MS, but enough about me. See the first sentence I wrote and feel free to ignore the rest of this post except for this sentence in case you read from the bottom up. Loon-A-TiK
Yeah, you're right- this was just another of my grand ideas that I tend to come up with when I'm feeling non-whaleshit. My moods bounce quite a bit and I tend to feel that I can somehow control them (with my mind of all things, lol). Spanks for your help! -------lots of loon----------
