Savannah
Does anyone take Provigil and have dry mouth? i have been taking the same 200mg dose for most of the last 8 years. Sometimes in the past I have had dry mouth but only occasionally. the last month for some reason now it is constant and it is unbearable. Biotin and Oasis don't work. i am going to stop taking it for a few days and see if it would get better. I see my pdoc in 2 weeks.
notloki
In general dry mouth is a common stimulant side effect. I found the Biotin spray was a good rescue med to carry when I could not get to water and then I just drank water or other beverages a lot. jt07
I always have some kind of liquid (water, coffee, soda, juice) within arm's reach and sip on that all day because every one of my meds with the possible exception of Abilify causes dry mouth. Savannah
I have not taken Provigil in the last 2 days and the dry mouth hasn't subsided. Those who experienced dry mouth, how long dis it take before it goes away?

Savannah
That is what I am beginning to think so too. I also take seroquel and lamactul and I don't dare trying to stop taking them.
notloki
Seroquel is a real possibility, Lamictal less so.
Savannah
I think it is the seroquel. Unfortunately that is my main med. guess I will have to live with it.
