dancesintherain
So I've currently got a situation that i don't understand. I'm finding that occasionally I'm catching my muscle twitching. Because my immediate impulse is to stop it rather than to observe it, I can't tell if it's observable twitching. It feels like it probably is. It's all been in my legs. Think calf muscle while sitting, foot in a shoe at any point, etc. anyone have vocabulary to put to this randomness?
aura
I have this too. I've mentioned it to pdoc before but he didn't tell me which drug it was likely from. He just told me to take a multivitamin because calcium can help with the twitching. I've been doing that for a few days now with some but not total improvement. melissaw72
Have you tried magnesium? It helps with muscle twitching. Maybe run that by your DR as a possibility for something to take for it? Edited April 5, 2017 by melissaw72

dancesintherain
I've got language for it. It's like when you're tapping your fingers along to music while driving (or in general). It's that kind of motion, but without me having any control over it. And obviously no music required.

dancesintherain
Sorry you're also part of the twitching club. I mentioned it to my doctor but very very briefly without much description and at the end of a complicated appointment, so we didn't discuss it really. I'll have to bring it up next Friday. The problem is that it's so small in comparison to the rest of things that it slips my mind.
jt07
A lot of my meds cause muscle twitching, especially Tegretol and Abilify. If I forget to take a Tegretol dose, the twitching can turn into very painful muscle cramps.
