Any withdrawal from Wellbutrin after 1 month?

Just wondering if anyone has experienced any kind of withdrawal symptoms going off Wellbutrin?

I've only been on it a month, but I suddenly feel more destabilized, my depression is worse & now having some anxiety. btw it is the IR (300mg total, split morning/afternoons). It has given me sleep disturbance, which I now must remedy with Valium or Xanax. I don't know whether I should continue to stick it out?

@Blahblah, Sometimes WB is too stimulating for people with any kind of anxiety.....I take it and have anxiety, but all my other meds are somewhat sedating, so I think those balance out the WB.

You could ask your doc to maybe lower the dose-- that might help, and some folks do better on a lower dose of WB.........Or you could ask about Wellbutrin XR, which is only dosed once a day.

If neither of those options work, and you've given it a fair trial of about 6 weeks, IMO you might have to start looking at another med to try..
