hello. i also need help with,, bipolar like symptoms

i have mood swings at the tiniest things. i'm so happy! i feel so great, im talking alot and being happy but then all of a sudden i cant do something i want to do and i drop super bad and then even five minutes after id be happy again

i have bad relationships with people and i. feel like people hate me if they dont laugh loud enough at a joke i tell. i have paranoia that everyone talks about me and how bad i am and that they're all lying. i have bad relationships were i usually obsess over a certain person, and i never really hang out with anyone else but them. if they dont comfort me, then they hate me. id hate them but then after the arguments over they're my favourite person in the world

im sorry if i sound incoherent im not great at the moment

my ex described me once as "being one way one moment then something else the next" or somethn and whenever i get really happy about stuff i like my brother tells me im being hyper n stuff and it usually brings my mood down because i dont want to be annoying,

anyway sorry. any advice would be helpful. i'm 15 and im diagnosed with depression & GAD. ive been trying to get a proper re-diagnosis because i havent been going to school because i just. feel like i cant have healthy relationships with anyone and its just scary.

thank you for any help you give me,

I'm not going to debate a diagnosis made by a doctor, but to me, it doesn't sound like there's much wrong for your age. I certainly wouldn't think BP given that description alone. I think therapy would do you more good than being stuck on meds at your age, based strictly on what you've described. If it was me, I would look for a good child/adolescent tdoc and start there. If necessary, they could probably get you referred to a good pdoc who specializes in child/adolescent treatment. Too much is going on at your age.

Are your parents supportive of you getting help, or are you doing this on your own?

Hi, I agree your parents would need to take you to,a doctor. Bipolar mood changes shift much more slowly. Borderline personality has rapid mood shifts, "Favorite Person," etc....but, again, I'm no doctor and I don't have any qualifications. It's possible to have bipolar and borderline or maybe you're perfectly fine. Lots of emotions during the teenage years. But it's good to reach out and get a physical and psychological evaluation if you are concerned -  please talk to a trusted adult.  Perhaps return to the health care provider that is treating you for GAD and depression....those are a lot to deal with themselves, I hope you feel better soon.  Take care.

That may be the case for you, but I assure you that other BP types can experience dizzyingly fast mood shifts.

Could you get a 2nd opinion?

Like @dtac said, I also think a child/adolescent therapist (tdoc) would be helpful.  If you don't know where to start in terms of finding one, could your general DR/ pediatrician refer you to someone?

Are you on any medication?
