jt07
Well, for me, winter means no sweltering in terrible heat and humidity. I also like the beauty of snow and the light it gives in the home. Also, the stove gives off cozy warmth and a nice cup of hot cocoa makes it even cozier. Fireplaces are even better if you are lucky enough to have one. Finally, there are the holidays of Christmas and New Year's in the winter. I love winter. It's my second favorite season (after fall).
Rabbit37
Yes, snow, definitely. I love the way everything's quiet while it snows, even traffic is less. i love the way the kitchen windows fog up when I'm making a large pot of soup/stew, which is all the time during winter. I don't have to shave my legs, lol. no mosquitoes, no flies, and the outside garbage bin doesn't smell. oh! And no allergies. on a more serious note, have you tried a light box? I don't get depressed during winter, but it seems to help a lot of people.
Gearhead
I love winter. Winter is beautiful here, snow and its eerie light and the hanging icicles, and the peace of the shorter days protecting me from mania.
