Renarde Posted September 2, 2017 Share Posted September 2, 2017 Anyone ever used calorie/food restriction to slow down hypomania? I realized I wasn't really eating as a symptom of the whole thing, and then I realized it wasn't so hard to restrict my intake every day, and then when I was really restricting it wasn't hard and the hypomania has been less intense. I know this is dysfunctional, but I can't get in to see my pdoc for weeks and I have nothing to help me get through and I want this to stop. I've already had an eating disorder so I know all of the ramifications etc. But honestly I realized that depleting myself physically was dulling this insanity, which has been escalating, and I don't feel like I have a lot of options.
