Myfavoriteheadache
Everytime....3x in a row now...I have been driven to the brink of Hell with this med. Obviously it works very well for others. Just I seem really sensitive to it. All different doses, for months. Anyone else?
jt07
What exactly is it doing to you?
Myfavoriteheadache
Major anxiety! Paranoid thoughts. Can't sleep. If sleep just constant dreaming. That is a major red flag for me. Dream reduction = best antidepressant for me. Really weird dreams...very vivid.
jt07
Well, it is generally known for its sedation, and it usually doesn't cause anxiety or paranoia. It can, however, cause vivid and crazy dreams. I don't know why it affects you like that, but it seems that Remeron isn't the med for you so you should call your pdoc as soon as possible and tell him. Myfavoriteheadache
Ya, that is exactly what I did. Surprise number of reports in the scientific literature of this. Psychosis/agitation/hyperanxiety after continued use.
Jupiter7
I hated remeron. It gave me a bunch of side effects and DIDN'T do anything to help me. Effexor is giving me some side effects but at least it has good properties.
